The spacecraft system consists of several subsystems necessary to successfully achieve the mission goals.
In addition to conducting necessary studies for all subsystems, coordination of interfaces between subsystems are being underway.

Explanation of the spacecraft

Mission Subsystem

There are various different instruments to measure scientific data.

Data handling Subsystem

It processes data obtained by science observations and various housekeeping data for knowing the state of the spacecraft for data transmission to the earth.

Electrical Power Subsystem

It generates, stores, and provides electrical power to the whole spacecraft.

Guidance, Navigation and Control Subsystem

It controls the attitude of the spacecraft and maintains knowledge of where the spacecraft is located.

Attitude and Orbit Control Subsystem

By using sensors and actuators such as thrusters and gyroscopes, it controls the spacecraft’s orbit and attitude.

Landing Subsystem

It consists of landing gears and all other necessary devices to land the Martin moon surface safely.

Thermal Control Subsystem

It maintains thermal conditions for all devices and instruments.

Communication Subsystem

It provides communication functions between spacecraft and the control center.

Structure Subsystem

It provides structural support to propulsion module, exploration module, return module, and all onboard devices and instruments.

Propulsion Subsystem

Responsibility of chemical propulsion system is to accelerate, deaccelerate and control attitude.


Sampler : It collects samples from the Martian moon.
Sample Return Capsule:Its responsibility is to bring samples taken from the Martian moon safely back to the earth.

Grand Segment

It consists of ground facilities such as antennas for operation of the spacecraft for sending commands and receiving measurement data.
